Hetty Hill BVM&S CertAVP(EL) PGCertVPS MRCVS
RCVS Recognised Advanced Practitioner in Equine Lameness
Hetty graduated with distinction from Edinburgh Vet School in 2016. Following this she undertook a hospital and ambulatory internship in Kent, before completing a sports horse internship at Dr Andre Buthe Equine Clinic, gaining valuable experience alongside the team vets for GB dressage and NZ eventing. After three years of ambulatory practice in Gloucestershire, Hetty has spent the last couple of years in Dorset, focusing primarily on sports horse work.
Although Hetty enjoys all areas of equine practice, her main areas of focus include poor performance and lameness, with a special interest in soft tissue injuries and regenerative treatment options. Hetty obtained the RCVS Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (EL) in 2021, and is also an RCVS Recognised Advanced Practitioner in Equine Lameness. She is also an FEI Permitted Treating Veterinarian and an Official Veterinarian (OCQ(V)-EQ).
Hetty has been part of the Badminton Veterinary Team since 2022, and looks forward to continuing in this role. Hetty also enjoyed volunteering at the RDA championships in 2023 and hopes to support the RDA in the future. Hetty is ably assisted by her much loved terrier Sprout, who has a special interest in all things food or tennis ball related. Having grown up locally as a keen member of the Minchinhampton Pony Club, Hetty is very excited to be returning to the area.
